The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), Contract and Grant Administration (CGA), and Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA) will be observing MSU’s 2024 winter break from Tuesday, December 24, 2024 through Wednesday, January 1, 2025. OSP/CGA/SPA staff will not be working during this time and actions requiring our involvement (e.g. proposals, RPPRs, etc.) must be submitted to the appropriate office by noon on Friday, December 20, 2024.

Grants.gov Extended Downtime in September - S2S Implications

Grants.gov will be offline for almost a full business week as they migrate to the cloud.

  • Grants.gov will go Offline Friday, September 23, 2022, at 12:01 AM ET.
  • Grants.gov will come back Online Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 11:59 PM ET.

For System-to-System applications, you will not be able to take the following actions in Kuali Research during the outage:

  • pull in new opportunities
  • submit S2S applications

Please plan ahead by adding Grants.gov opportunities in PDs before Friday, September 23rd.

Budget Report #3 Is Updated

Budget report #3, Budget Salary Report, has been updated to include MSU's customizations. Currently only the PDF version of the report is available and we will continue to pursue the option of exporting to Excel

NIH Validation & Image Services Are Back

NIH made changes to their systems, which impacted the NIH Validation Service and e-Application button. This has been corrected. You should now see these features working properly in KR. If you have any questions or issues, please contact the KR Help Desk.


New Resource To Help With PHS Human Subjects & Clinical Trial Form

A new web resource has been developed to help complete the PHS Human Subject and Clinical Trials form. The resource provides a guided approach on where to input/attach information in KR in order to properly complete the form, and replaces our previous PDF version of the Information Guide.
